Residence Halls

There are three residence halls at Ottawa University, Bennett, Brown, and Martin. Between the three residence halls, they house around 400 students. There’s a good page at Ottawa Student Services that describes the differences between all three. All the residence halls are currently coed.

Apartments

There are several apartment complexes that have partnered with the University as well. They are:

• Blue Mountain Apartments
• Gillette House
• The Studios at Rock Creek
• University Apartments

There’s more information on these on the Ottawa University Apartments page. All of these are pretty good options and are ran directly through the university. There are also a variety of other apartment complexes throughout the town but a lot of them are low income and students may not qualify (they’re also usually full).

Houses for Rent

There are usually a wide variety of houses to rent around the campus area as well. One of them right next to campus even has it’s own website, the Ottawa Cedar House. It’s a rent by the room setup, all rooms come furnished with beds, desks, dishes, etc. Pretty decent option if you’re looking for a house rental close to campus.
